Solar Dragons LLC

After being out of touch with reality for so long, I’m glad to be getting back into the swing of things. The meds I was on was messing with my concentration but thats over with. I’m reestablishing business contacts. Matt gave me some suggestions of where to look for potential clients. Now I’ve been going through my files to start redesigning my site… again. February is a busy month. I hope by either the middle or the end of the month I can have my site up and running and then start advertising Solar Dragons again.

I’m debating going to Purdue and/or Robert Morris to try and get some interns. I think about what life was like when I was an inter. I dont really remembering contributing that much. I need interns to spread my name around for the company. Hmmm…. I’m still in the air about it.

Thats about how much better I feel. The meds have helped to some extent but I think there is mold in the house. My wife has started to get sick and she doesnt have allergies. Some business has come and gone but the business thats here hasn’t signed a contract, so I don’t need to pull out my chisel yet. I saw a friend of mine and expanded on the online comic we are working on. He’s getting the artists and I’m writing. He also works for people detecting mold in buildings and homes. So he’s coming over soon. I got a filter that kills mold spores. I put it on ‘HI’ and it worked right away. My wife and I stopped coughing as much and was able to go to sleep for longer than 2hrs. I don’t think I’m going to make my deadline for my site but since business is coming in, I might as well jump on that.

Vince referred some clients my way, even while I was sick. I contacted both of them and things seem promising. One site, however, was out of my programing league. So I had to call Matt. I was glad I did. I ran my clients site idea past him and we both saw the problems with programing it. So he gave me some suggestions that I agreed with. We caught up with some stuff too. He doesn’t work at ‘The company that shall not be named’ anymore. He’s SEOing for a company… I forget. As long as he’s not working for ‘The company that shall not be named’. Plus he had some ideas on how to grow my client base. Even though I’m sick, I’m trying to get back into the swing of things.

I have been sick for a little over a month, soon after my last post. I was bed-ridden for roughly 2 weeks. I’ve never been this sick so I finally went to the doctor. He gave me some medicine that helps but being sick in general is disrupting my sleep. Which of course is disrupting my work. So updating my site has been put on hold for a while. I have good news too but that can wait seeing that its 2 am.

I think I bit off more than I could chew. I’ve been getting things together for the web pages and I realized that this site is going to be a lot bigger than I would have preferred. There are so many things that need to be put online for Solar Dragons; Flash, websites, logos, text for each page, free stuff, etc. In addition, certain sections need different designs in order to fit everything on the page. The Home page will need a different look than the Games page and so on. I have a deadline of January 1st to launch. I hope I can reach that.
